The West Coast wants it. Major cities in the West Coast are on their way to become “electric car capitals,” as The New York Times’ Todd Woody wrote recently (http://nyti.ms/9TXkQ3). It’s common to witness sleek and silent electric vehicles constantly passing by on roads in Portland, Los Angeles and San Diego.
San Francisco appears to be taking the lead. Tesla Motors has sold 150 of its $109,000 electric roadsters in the Bay Area.
