Americans are driving less and opting for more fuel-efficient vehicles. That’s a good thing. The problem is the states and federal government rely on gasoline taxes as a way to fund road construction and repairs. Less fuel use means less money to fix our decaying infrastructure. New and creatives ways will be needed to generate needed revenue. We’ll be talking more about this in upcoming blogs.
