The New York State Department of Transportation has posted on their website, a terrific graph clearly showing the cost of fuel for a driver based on their fuel mileage and a 15,000 mile per year driving frequency.
The question is, how can a driver realize those potential savings? How can they increase their fuel mileage without going through the expense of purchasing a more fuel efficient machine?
The answer is simple.
Ecodriving.
Ecodriving is a way of modifying how it is that you drive, in order to make sure that you are achieving three main goals:
Better fuel mileage (up to 24% better based on your current driving style and the type of vehicle you drive).
Marked reduction in your carbon footprint.
A safer and more relaxed driving experience.
