Going to a car wash is great, but have you ever thought about how much water they use each day?
The International Carwash Association’s WaterSavers program is designed to help promote professional car washes that use environmentally friendly practices.
There are a number of requirements of the WaterSavers program, for example, conveyer car wash systems must use no more than 40 gallons of water per car, and self service car washes must use nozzles and pump systems that require less than 3 gallons of water per minute. So next time you get your car washed, make sure you go to a carwash that is part of the WaterSavers program.
